Arti is an internationally experienced educator and consultant who has navigated health care systems in four countries. Her personal experience with family health care has ranged from participating in the Canadian health care system- to navigating US health care and insurance – to straddling the dual public and private system for family health in the UK – and arranging for out of country surgery while living in the Caribbean.

Arti has been involved in for-profit and not-for profit organizations in Canada, Barbados, the US and the UK focussing on youth, education and public relations. Her corporate experience also includes project co-ordination, research and communication where she worked for Mount Gay Distilleries, a Barbadian subsidiary of the Remy Cointreau group based in Paris, France. Here she worked with both local and international press and managed the international point of sale program.

Arti recently completed a Masters degree in Education and International Development with the University of London(UK). She received her Bachelor of Music/French at McMaster University and her Bachelor of Education at the University of Toronto.
